July 14, 2015 – Trooper Foundation hosts State Police Summer Youth Program, Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse selected to participate.

The Trooper Foundation is sponsoring its 2nd Annual State Police Summer Youth Program, with law enforcement officials hosting approximately 80 children (ages 9-12) from the Syracuse Boys & Girls Clubs and Ernie Davis Community Center (Elmira, NY).

Kids will enjoy a day of fun an educational activities including a variety of games and an obstacle course; lunch; and K-9 demonstration. The day will culminate with a distribution of free backpacks to the program participants around 2:30 p.m.

Where: Manley Field House, Syracuse University, 1301 Colvin St., Syracuse, NY 13201

When: Wednesday, July 15, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The Trooper Foundation’s mission is to offer young children, ages 9-12, interactions with law enforcement officers through targeted activities, and to educate/mentor underprivileged and economically disadvantaged children who live in New York State by promoting and creating positive experiences with law enforcement.
