MARCH 24, 2017 (SYRACUSE, NY)Throughout the week of March 27th, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse is inviting the community to join them for National Boys & Girls Club Week. This special celebration offers the general public the opportunity to experience the life-changing programs the Boys & Girls Club offers to children and teens in Syracuse.

A part of National Boys & Girls Club week, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse will join more than 4,300 Boys & Girls Clubs across America and on U.S. military installations as they host a weeklong celebration featuring, the many ways the Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse opens the door to great futures through outcome-driven programs that focus on encouraging youth to make healthy choices, build strong character and succeed academically.

“Day in and day out, our Boys & Girls Club staff and mentors deliver quality experiences that make a difference in a youth’s life beyond their time at the Club. Research shows that kids who have an optimal experience at our Clubs are also more likely to have positive self-esteem, volunteer, and be engaged in school,” said Pat Driscoll, executive director, Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse. “National Boys & Girls Club Week is a special time when we welcome the community to witness the amazing impact Clubs have on the lives of kids and teens.”
