LOCAL Taco Bell Restaurants Donate $9,990 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse
Syracuse, NY (October 12, 2016) – The locally owned and operated Taco Bell restaurants (Hospitality Syracuse, Inc d/b/a Taco Bell) will be giving a $9,990 grant to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse through the Taco Bell Foundation for the Teens program. The check presentation is at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13th at the Hamilton Street Boys & Girls Club located at 201 Hamilton Street, Syracuse, NY, 13204.
Established in 1992, the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens is a public 501c-3 charity committed to inspiring teenagers to graduate from high school and become caring, educated and productive adults. Through our partners and programs, such as the Boys & Girls Clubs, the Foundation has created a national focus to foster educational, career and service opportunities for teens.
Funding comes from the generosity of Taco Bell customer donations and the support of Taco Bell employees, franchisees and partners. The money being donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse was collected throughout 2015 in the Syracuse area Taco Bell restaurants. Canisters are placed in the restaurants so patrons can support the program by donating their spare change.
“So many area teens benefit from the programs and services that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse provide and we are proud to be able to provide continued support to the clubs,” said Steve Pinkerton, Owner/Vice President, Hospitality Syracuse, Inc.
The Taco Bell Foundation for Teens is the largest donor to Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Inc. (BGCA) giving more than $40 million to support teen programming since 1995. In addition, Taco Bell Foundation for Teens provides grants to other worthy programs that are designed to help teens stay in school and on the path to graduation.
